What are those tiny dots on my window seal? Fly Poop!

Those tiny dots on my windows are what?!?!

Poop!

That’s right…I said it! Those tiny dots on your window are the remaining fecal matter that flies leave just about every where they land. Flies are know carriers of disease and illness and can be found feeding and breeding on human food and waste. Every time a fly lands on your food, cup, hand, window it’s transmitting germs, disease and grossness from its last hang out.

Flies vomit their stomach contents on solid food.

House flies can’t bite so they use their spongy like mouth to suck up liquid. Flies vomit their stomach contents on solid food. Digestive juices from the stomach start breaking the solid food into small pieces. Mixed with the stomach juices and other stuff in its stomach, the fly can now use its proboscis (sponge) to drink the liquid thereby transmit disease organisms wherever they land.

Flies transmit 65 diseases to humans!

House flies are strongly suspected of transmitting at least 65 diseases to humans, including typhoid fever, dysentery, cholera, poliomyelitis, yaws, anthrax, tularemia, leprosy and tuberculosis.
